Barking Dog (UES)

I ordered the cape cod fish with chips, and enjoyed the food very much. The food arrived earlier than expected, and the fries were still crispy. The items were supposed to only come with peas as stated on the menu. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it also came with grilled broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and a lemon halve.

This was my first order from this restaurant , and I would gladly eat here again. The portions were generous, and just overall tasted good.

Love the Barking Dog -- Definitely a go-to, something-for-everyone kind of restaurant. Portions are large. This justifies the slightly higher than average price point for the items on the menu.

Their bacon is soooo good, so crispy: a rarity in NYC. The rest of the food is lovely, too. I love their sandwiches and their brunch is fantastic.

Great Eggs Benedict and shoe string home fries! I've enjoyed the food every time I've ordered here!

Lobster Mac & Cheese was delicious, but rest of the food was a bit overpriced for the taste.

I have had eggs benedict at other places that was good, but never delivered well at all. This place was perfect and they have sides! There is plenty of hollandaise and it comes on the side in a generous portion. They make a really good hollandaise. Then the platter they send it in is divided into 3 sections so nothing gets soggy or broken. They have the fresh fruit in one, hash browns and English muffin (both crispy and toasty just enough) in one and the poached eggs, which are done perfectly, in the last one. The eggs come wrapped in cabbage leaves to protect them. A delightful and delicious experience!!

I order from Barking Dog an average of once a week. It's close by, so sometimes I pick up but usually I am lazy and order delivery. Delivery is never late, and the food is consistently delicious. Some personal favorites include: the Barking Dog Cobb Salad, the Shrimp Avocado Salad (huge salad portions!), the Cornmeal Calamari, and the surprisingly delicious Salmon Burger.

I love the purple lettuce, the eggs and hollandaise sauce, and even the English muffin bread was not bad. The problem was the smoked salmon was too salty, and they were some bones. They were mint but I didnt expect that type of smoked salmon. The fruits are delicious and they are a nice touch. The hashbrowns are amazing! Healthier and better version than Mickey Ds.

It's always a treat ordering dinner from Barking Dog. The food is fresh and warm and tasty. I highly recommended the classic burger and the macaroni and cheese. Both are delicious and comforting; great for when you want to feel at home while eating.

Easily one of my favorites in the neighborhood. The food is so good I just keep going down the list and order different things. Sandwiches are decent size too! I have a big appetite and these are filling. Theyre really friendly too!
